Temporary Toilet Resolution
- There must be a portable toilet within 200 feet of the foundation or proposed foundation
- The maximum number of workers served can not exceed 20 for each portable toilet
- Portable toilets may be shared between multiple buildings and multiple owners as long as the distance and capacity requirements are met. This includes multiple property owners with written agreement.
- The toilets shall be serviced no less than bi-weekly.
- The temporary toilet permit fee will be $100.00 for each toilet or facility.
- The permit will be valid for one year
- The permitted portable toilet can not be moved. The permit is for a specific location. If it is necessary to move the portable toilet for some legitimate reason the Health Department must be contacted for approval.
- The permit will be issued immediately upon the Forsyth County Health Department receiving the application and fee. A site visit will be made within two weeks to determine compliance.
- In the event of non-compliance the applicant will be given 5 business days to remedy the situation. If compliance is not completed within 5 days the original permit will be voided and the Forsyth County Planning Department will be requested to issue a Stop Work Order.
